VENICE: ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with ACIT Venice, has opened Future Landscapes, the final appointment of the 2025 Borders Art Fair. The exhibition is on view from July 25 through August 7 at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, coinciding with the 19th Venice Biennale of Architecture. More than 100 artists from over 30 countries are participating.

The exhibition examines how human creativity continues to shape and transform the world, engaging themes of identity, environment, and the rebalancing of human and natural systems. The program also includes a solo exhibition by American photographer Christopher B. Fowler, curated by Luca Curci. Fowler presents a minimalist approach that avoids filters and digital manipulation, relying instead on natural light, wide angles, and straightforward technique to capture truth and presence in each scene.

Other artists highlight diverse ways of imagining landscapes and identity. Italian photographer Nicolò Orsi Battaglini combines scientific precision with artistic exploration, while Spanish artist Nluz Love uses experimental photography to reinterpret Picasso’s spirit through contemporary technology. Bela Gutman explores the psychological landscapes of the human figure, and Selma Imrenk develops digital illustrations shaped by memory and intuition.

Minquan Wang links architecture and social commentary, proposing urban spaces that preserve personal memory, while Vivi transforms memory into poetic visual experiences through light and form. Sculptor Marie Puybaraud works directly with clay to create pieces that evoke ancient ritual figures, and painter Jeanne Marette uses large-format inks to convey elemental sensations of air and water.

Artists such as CK Maurer and Dimitra Papageorgiou broaden the conversation further. Maurer merges AI-generated imagery with human portraiture to question authenticity and the boundary between the artificial and the organic. Papageorgiou uses reclaimed wood, canvas, and oils to translate the raw energy of sea horizons and coastlines into textured, dynamic paintings.

With Future Landscapes, the Borders Art Fair positions Venice as a laboratory of ideas. The exhibition proposes new ways of seeing landscapes, identities, and the shared spaces between humanity and nature. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello.
