Casa del Mutilato di Genova – A.N.M.I.G. Foundation is pleased to announce its participation in the prestigious international exhibition “Segrete. Tracce di Memoria” for 2025, as a selected cultural institution. Now in its 17th edition, the event will feature a contemporary art exhibition produced by the Foundation itself.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, the Foundation presents a thought-provoking reflection on the emotional moment following the historic event and the subsequent peace that began to blossom. The proposal, curated by Matteo Lenuzza (Curator – Casa del Mutilato di Genova) and supported by Guido Vinacci (President – Casa del Mutilato di Genova), will showcase the *Internal Rooms* of the Modern and Contemporary Art Collection, hosting *“Simulacro d’infanzia”*, a delicate installation by young artist Giorgia Grassi.

This installation will serve as a conclusive and separate moment within the visitor experience. A step forward, an almost imperceptible moment — a piece of the present, essential for a deep reflection on freedom through a sense of suspension. A serene, fresh memory (just eighty years distant) that takes on a form of hopeful wish for the present day.

This exhibition marks the first event in the Foundation’s new cultural program for the year, continuing previous projects that support an entirely accessible artistic horizon in all its forms. Always vigilant in supporting democratic and pacifist ideals, the Casa del Mutilato renews its commitment to individual freedoms and inclusivity, inheriting the values embodied by the very building itself.

The exhibition will open on January 24 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and will be available for viewing during regular opening hours or by appointment.
