Without a fixed theme, the 16th “Open” Online Art Competition asks artists to let medium and subject lead. Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery welcomes 2D and 3D work from artists worldwide, whether representational or abstract, for a December 2026 online group exhibition.
Submissions are assessed for clarity, originality, composition and overall artistic impact by Chris and Valerie Hoffman, with other art professionals involved when available. The Best in Show artist receives a US$100 cash prize, while the leading artists gain press distribution, online promotion and links to their own websites. Selected work remains credited to its creator and is archived by the gallery for five years; artists retain copyright while granting limited display and promotional use.
Standard entry fees are US$18 for one or two works and US$26 for three to five. Eligible students using an .edu address pay US$14 or US$22. Artists aged 18 or over may apply internationally with painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture and other 2D or 3D media. The submission deadline is 27 November 2026.
