On display for the month of October at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is the exhibition, ‘Home-Protector or Predator.’ Artist Sue Archibald tells stories of what a safe home means through imagery of domestic dwellings. The scenes depicted in the works were created during the pandemic and stemmed from the artist’s personal experiences and imagination.

The art exhibition will surprise gallery visitors with several paintings that are playful, folksy, and whimsical. The viewer is invited to uncover meaning and thought that may be buried within the contextual surface of seemingly charming artworks.

16 paintings will be on display in the Joyner Gallery until October 30th. The gallery hours are Tuesday – Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
