  •  Google Yourself

The first thing you should try to assess your presence online is to google yourself and in search of some kind of relevant information. If you find something, be it on yourself and your art, it means you are indeed present online. However, it’s not enough. You need to define far your influence goes. Google some keywords people actually google and see if yourself come up as a reference. It will be a sign that you are visible enough.
Also, by googling yourself, you may discover some articles written about you that you knew nothing of, or maybe find you appear on some highly referenced sites such as Wikipedia. If on the other hand you instead find nothing about you, it’s no big deal. It could occur if you have a popular name. It’s massive information and it’s a sign you need to do something. You need to take control of the information published under your name.

Therefore, constantly checking your influence on the different social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram can be an indicator of how known you are on their networks, hence visible. You can use different software or platforms to indicate the rate at which your followers respond to your posts. Keep in mind that it’s not about the number of followers but instead how responsive they are with shares, comments, and reactions to your updates.
